Yes, the theme for today’s nail art is Hello Kitty. It has been requested many times by my sister and most recently the request for HK nails came from kreative kat who (among others) entered the giveaway. Open this link to read more about it ;-) I hope you like the result, kreative kat. I already know my sister does :-P
At first there comes a base colour, shimmery pink. I used a fake of Sephora – Tsipora. LOL. Let dry and make white tips with french manicure sticker guides. Make sure you make them thicker than they appear naturally. When you’re done with those, apply a few shimmery violet dots – Tsipora.
Using Jessica, DNA 2, Black I added spot details, eyes and the three whiskers on each Hello Kitty cheek. Also add a yellow dot for a cute button nose – Look by Bipa, yellow.
In the end before you apply top coat add the flower confetti, or a bow if you have it. This design wasn’t my idea. I found it on weheartit. All credit to this nail art goes to creator.
One more thing concerning the prvious nail art – reverse french mani. Gothic_devine wrote a kind comment with a suggestion to how she does her nails for reverse manicure. Here’s what she said: “I do the reverse mani in a different way: i apply the base colour (the one which will ends up in the cuticle’s area),then, when it’s well dry, i put a nail art tip stencil (this one http://www.shopmania.it/shopping~online-cosmetici-donna~compra-lunette-french-manicure-per-mani-e-piedi~p-16579723.html ) on the cuticle’s area to cover up the ”ruffian” part of the nail art,and then i apply the black mat polish all over the nail.
i think it’s easier,if you are not very good with painting free hands ;)
ah, i do this design quite often,it’s my favourite! 8)http://www.olivecocomag.com/wp-content/uploads/ruffian-mani.jpg“
Let me know how that technique works for you. Do you like that better? :-) Also don’t forget about commenting on Hello Kitty and putting in your requests! Much love till Monday and have a fab weekend!!
